Building Access
Our building is open to visitors 24-hours a day. However, access to the building through certain entrances can be limited depending on the time of day or night you visit:

  • Main Lobby: 250 Cherry St. SE, Handicap access with wheelchairs. Doors open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • SE Corner: Lafayette Ave. entrance. Doors open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (This entrance is not open to the public on weekends.)
  • After 9 p.m.: Park in the North Visitor Lot. Enter through the ER of the main hospital.

Chapel
Our Lady of Mercy Chapel is located on the second floor of The Lacks Cancer Center.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.Mass: Monday through Friday, 12:05 p.m.

Gift & Coffee Shop
The Shoppe is located on the first floor of The Lacks Cancer Center.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Guest Services
Located in The Lacks Cancer Center's main lobby, Guest Services is happy to assist you with general information, personal assistance, parking and tour information. You may contact Guest Services at 616-685-5200.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours vary.

Parking
Public parking is available at all times at The Lacks Cancer Center lot on the Northeast corner of Cherry and Lafayette. Valet parking is available at the Cherry Street entrance. Additional public parking can be found behind the Wege Building off of Lafayette.

  • Valet Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the main Cherry Street entrance.

Personal Care Area
Located on the first floor of The Lacks Cancer Center. Here, patients can be professionally fitted for prostheses and wigs, as well as schedule makeovers. For prostheses products, call 616-685-5030. For makeovers or wig fittings, call 616-685-5200.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Special hours are available upon request.

Pharmacy
Located on the main level of the Peter M. Wege Center for Health & Learning, Lafayette entrance.

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saint Mary's Café
Located on level one of the main hospital, just off the main corridor. Our café is handicap accessible, and is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are microwaves available for your personal use.

  • Meals are served at the following times:
    • Breakfast: 7 a.m. – 10 a.m., Monday – Friday (Continental Breakfast served on weekends and holidays)
    • Lunch: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Friday
    • Dinner: 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
    • Late Night Café: 11 p.m. – 1 a.m., Monday – Friday

Warren Reynolds Library
